JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO 2026, a fireworks display of the same or larger scale as the Expo, will be held on April 4 at Futshiki no Hama Park. All seats charged; tickets go on sale February 7.

The Kaizuka Expo Fireworks Executive Committee will hold “JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO 2026 in Osaka – Nishikinohama” on April 4 at BLUEPARK (859-1 Sawa, Kaizuka, Osaka) and surrounding areas. All seats are paid admission, and tickets will go on sale around February 7.

It has been about a year since the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO 2025). This year’s event will be on the same or larger scale as Expo 2025, with a maximum of 10 fireworks (one meter in length), each measuring more than 300 meters in width and lasting approximately 60 minutes. In addition to the power and beauty of the original fireworks, visitors will be able to enjoy synchronized music and other programs related to the Expo.

The main venue, Futashiki no Hama Beach, is the only beach in Osaka Prefecture to be certified as a “Blue Flag” beach, an international environmental certification. This is one of only three places in western Japan that have received this certification, and visitors can experience the charm of this precious beach as well as the open-air fireworks display that only a seaside beach can provide.

Food, barbecue, and hands-on content are planned for the daytime enjoyment. Before the launch, visitors will be able to view the sunset, which has been recognized as one of the “100 Sunsets of Japan.

The event, which is being considered for continuation in the future as a way to connect the experiences created at the Expo to the future, will also be run in an environmentally friendly manner, and a beach cleanup and other clean-up activities are planned for the day after the event.
