Garmin Japan is promoting the usefulness of its Garmin smartwatch for travel.
Garmin’s GPS-equipped models feature map and navigation functions that utilize high-precision GPS positioning. The latest models also feature a sleep management function to counteract jet lag on overseas trips and Body Battery, a proprietary indicator that measures the body’s “energy level remaining” through rest.
It also features sports-oriented functions, including a function that creates a running course based on distance, and more than 100 different assists that utilize GPS and heart rate measurement functions. The recorded functions vary from model to model, allowing users to record their own activities.
