JR West Japan and JR West Hotel Development have decided on the name of the hotel to be opened in the JR Hiroshima Station Building, which is under reconstruction, as HOTEL GRANVIA HIROSHIMA SOUTH GATE.

It will be located on the 9th to 20th floors of the station building, with an average room size of 26m2 and 380 guest rooms, and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2025.

At the north exit of the station, there is already the Hiroshima Terminal Hotel (renamed Hotel Granvia Hiroshima in 1995, with 407 rooms), which opened in 1987, and the total number of rooms in the two buildings will increase to 787 rooms.
