On March 4, Workman held a presentation of new “ZERO-STAGE” spring/summer wear, which is to be released as a wear against extreme heat.
ZERO-STAGE is a new brand launched last March as a collaborative project with LDH JAPAN, and is a workwear series that combines the high functionality cultivated as a workwear specialty store with a stylish appearance. The new series will appeal to the general public as well as workers, and will be offered for everyday use.
Last year, the number of emergency medical evacuees nationwide due to heat stroke exceeded 100,000 for the first time since surveys began, making it the hottest summer in recorded history, and companies are now required to take measures against heat stroke. In response to these circumstances, Workman has launched “fan-equipped wear,” the first in the ZERO-STAGE series, as a new standard for heat-protection wear.
At the presentation, dance performers and male and female models appeared on stage in a fashion show style to demonstrate the ease of movement and versatility in coordinated outfits designed for daily use. EXILE TAKAHIRO, KENCHI TACHIBANA, and TETSUYA from EXILE, who model and supervise the “ZERO-STAGE” brand, also took the stage and showed stylish and cool outfits that “did not look like work clothes at all. It was not at all like a work uniform.
The company plans to sell a total of 1.52 million items for the new spring/summer collection, including fan-attached garments.
