APA Hotel Okhotsk Kitami and APA Hotel Fukuchiyama Ekimae to open in spring 2026

APA Hotel will open APA Hotel on April 1 and APA Hotel on May 1 after concluding franchise agreements. In preparation for the opening of both hotels, the company has begun accepting pre-sales and reservations through its official website and the “APA Nao” application.

APA Hotel Okhotsk Kitami (617-139 Tondahigashimachi, Kitami-shi, Hokkaido) will rebrand the current Kitami Plaza Hotel and open as a new hotel, located about 5 minutes from JR Kitami Station by car, with a flat parking lot that can accommodate up to 70 vehicles (700 yen per night). The hotel is located approximately 5 minutes from JR Kitami Station and can accommodate up to 70 vehicles.

The hotel will have a total of 100 guest rooms, including 60 single rooms, 8 double rooms, 24 twin rooms, and 8 Japanese/Western twin rooms. For guests staying for long periods of time, a coin-operated laundry in the hotel is available free of charge, and there will also be a restaurant and banquet facilities on the first floor. Room rates start at 5,500 yen for a single room.

APA Hotel Fukuchiyama Ekimae (3-20-1 Ekiminami-machi, Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture) will rebrand R-Inn Fukuchiyama, which is currently in operation, and will open in front of JR Fukuchiyama Station, a one-minute walk from the south exit.

The hotel has a total of 91 rooms, 84 single rooms and 7 twin rooms. Single rooms feature a 1,400 mm wide double bed, and room rates start at 6,000 yen for a single room. The hotel also plans to offer tickets to the Yoro no Yu hot spring in Kyoto Tanba Fukuchiyama, a 10-minute drive from the hotel, at a special price for guests of 500 yen (usually 900 yen) at the front desk.
