Universal Studios Japan will celebrate its 25th anniversary on March 31. To commemorate this event, the 25th anniversary program will be held from March 4 to March 30, 2027 under the theme of “Discover U! (Discover U!!!)” from March 4 to March 30, 2027.
The special event “Universal Cars and Stars Collection” includes a time machine from “Back to the Future,” a fire truck from “Backdraft,” a police car from “The Blues Brothers,” and a 1932 classic car from “American Graffiti, The collection features famous cars that appeared in classic Hollywood movies.
In addition, special daily meet and greets by Dr. Doc Brown of “Back to the Future” and brothers Jake and Elwood of “The Blues Brothers” will be held (Blues Brothers meet and greet will begin March 27).

Starting March 27, the New York area “Ultimate Blues Bash – The Color of Music” will bring that “Blues Brothers” to the stage where Cookie Monster and Grover from Sesame Street will be in full swing. Jake and Elwood return after an absence of about 17 years.
Also starting on March 27, “Kuromi Live – Discover Me Discover U! ~”, the ever-popular My Melody and Kuromi will try out new instruments, beatboxing, and sampling. In the finale, they will celebrate the 25th anniversary with a new parade song “The Power of U” in Kuromi’s version.
The Hollywood area will again host this year’s popular annual “Power of” series, starting on March 13 with “Power of Rock – You Rock! ~will feature the 25th anniversary original song “The Power of U” in addition to classic rock songs that everyone knows and loves.
