PokePark Visit the “Pokemon Forest,” a forest spreading in Canton, and take a closer look at the different gestures and facial expressions of each body.

On February 5, a new Pokemon-themed facility, “PokePark Kantou” (4015-1 Yanoguchi, Inagi City, Tokyo, in Yomiuri Land Amusement Park) will open. Prior to this, the interior of the facility was shown to the media for the first time.

The Pokémon Forest at the back of the area is a rich forest with a variety of terrain, including stepped paths, grassy areas, tunnels, and mountain trails. It is approximately 500 meters long and divided into 10 areas, including “Pikachu and Eevee’s Forest.

Each Pokémon has a different personality and behavior, including Iwok that is so big you can look up at it, Psyhorn that can ride on its back, and Pokémon that hide in the dirt and trees. You can observe Pokémon running around, fighting battles, sharing Berries, and other activities around the Kantou region.

It is also linked to the smartphone location-based game “Pokémon GO,” and there are said to be several PokéStops located in the forest, so be sure to look for them.

Regarding admission, the Elite Trainer’s Pass allows unlimited admission. Trainer’s Passes require a specific time (every hour from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm) when purchasing tickets and do not allow re-entry. The Town Pass, which will be available in the summer, does not allow admission.

Admission for both is until one hour before the end of Pokepark Kantor operations (until 5:00 p.m. on opening days), and operations may be cancelled in case of inclement weather.

In addition to the 110-step “Okashina Kaidan” staircase, the forest is rich in nature with many steep climbs (so steep that adults who lack exercise may become short of breath), so children under 5 years old are not allowed to enter even if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Wheelchairs and baby strollers are not allowed, and there are also restrictions on admission for those who cannot safely climb up and down stairs by themselves and those who are pregnant.
