Thanks Day” at Tokyo Disney Resort. Welcomed by executives and employees, 16,000 Cast Members became guests for one night only!

On January 30, Oriental Land held “Thanks Day,” a program for Cast Members at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Approximately 16,000 Cast Members were welcomed by executives and employees as guests and entered Tokyo DisneySea. They rented out the park after closing time to enjoy the one-night-only special event.

The company is focusing on ES (Employee Satisfaction) activities so that associate (part-time) employees can work with a sense of fulfillment, and this event was held as part of such efforts.

On the day of the event, the park closed at 19:00 and opened again past 20:00. Yumiko Takano, Chairman (and) CEO, and Kenji Yoshida, President (and) COO, expressed their gratitude directly to the park’s associate employees and performers who came to the park.

Mr. Takano said, “It is thanks to all the cast members that we are able to welcome so many guests,” referring to “Fantasy Springs,” which will have its grand opening on June 6.

With passion and imagination, let’s take Tokyo Disney Resort to the next level with the addition of a whole new attraction never seen before! He sent a message to the guests.

Mr. Yoshida also expressed his gratitude to the cast members for working together to create Happiness and to welcome so many guests, and like Mr. Takano, he expressed his hope to enjoy the grand opening together and make it a great success.

He also performed the popular Tokyo Disney Resort “Jambori Mickey! dance with Daisuke Shibata and Kazu Sagata, the 2024-2025 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassadors, to bring smiles to the faces of the guests.

On “Thanks Day,” a special attraction was also operated. They spent a special time with their co-workers, enjoying themselves with the cast members and taking pictures.
