Warner Bros. Studios Japan unveiled the Diagon Alley set of the “Studio Tour Tokyo Making of Harry Potter” (1-1-7 Kasuga-cho, Nerima-ku, Tokyo) to the press on May 16.
The unveiling follows the unveiling of Lines 9 and 3/4, the Hogwarts Express, the Great Hall, and the recent Ministry of Magic, and the official opening on June 16, just a month away, is highly anticipated.
In the Harry Potter series, Diagon Alley is depicted as a popular shopping street in the wizarding world. Since its appearance in the first film “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in the scene where Harry, about to enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, visits to buy necessary items for his school life, it has appeared many times in the sequel films.
Harry was taken by Hagrid to Diagon Alley, behind the Leaky Cauldron pub in London, for the first time. It was impressive to see him scurrying around, excited by everything he saw.
Diagon Alley, unveiled this time, is a set full of craftsmanship created by the creators involved in the actual film production, and the atmosphere of the cobblestone alley is beautifully recreated.
Highlights include Ollivander’s Shop, where Harry bought his wand (or more accurately, the wand chose Harry), Gringotts Wizarding Bank, the bank of the wizarding world, and Weasley Wizard Weeds, the Weasley brothers’ mischief store.

In front of the entrance of the “Studio Tour Tokyo Making of Harry Potter,” you will see statues inspired by the characters from the movie. After the opening, this area will become a popular photo spot, as it is an area that can be enjoyed without having a ticket.
