The government policy recommends the wearing of masks when visiting or seeing a doctor at a medical facility or using crowded public transportation, etc., while leaving the wearing of masks to the discretion of the individual, and each guideline follows this policy in principle. In conjunction with this change, ANA has removed the “Mask Wear” posters that had been posted at Haneda Airport Terminal 2. From today, no announcements will be made in-flight, and the wearing of masks will be left to the discretion of both passengers and employees. However, we will continue to request passengers and employees to ensure social distance when queuing for boarding and disembarking, as well as cough etiquette and hand sanitizer.
Basically, it conforms to the seventh edition of the guidelines (effective March 13) of the Scheduled Airlines Association, of which the company is a member.
