“Nitori Umeda Chayamachi Store” to Open on October 30 on the Site of the Former Umeda Loft. The World’s Largest Flagship Store, Featuring Furniture, Apparel, Gadgets, and More Across 8 Floors

Posted on October 27, 2026 by Editor in Chief

On October 30, Nitori will open its world’s largest flagship store, the “Nitori Umeda Chayamachi Store” (16-7 Chayamachi, Kita Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture). Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The store is located on the site of the former “Umeda Loft,” within walking distance of Hankyu Railway’s Osaka Umeda Station and Osaka Metro Midosuji Line’s Nakatsu Station. The total sales floor area is approximately 2,700 tsubo. The first floor features apparel, home appliances, seasonal items, and home furnishings; floors 2 through 4 feature home furnishings and home appliances; floors 5 through 7 feature furniture; and the eighth floor handles corporate business and home renovations.

In addition to featuring apparel from three Nitori Group companies—including recovery wear, N+, Shimachu’s N easy, and Nitori’s loungewear—in a sales area of approximately 100 tsubo, the store will be the first in the country to carry the new “life+audio” audio series and the “life+one” gadget series.

On the 5th and 6th floors, there are eight fully coordinated rooms featuring a mix of interior goods and home appliances, centered around a new furniture series. Through a total of 16 different space concepts—including the bedroom ideas on the 7th floor—the store aims to offer home design inspiration tailored to each individual’s preferences and lifestyle.

The 8th floor features Japan’s largest showroom for corporate clients. It features realistic recreations of a variety of spaces—including offices, hotels, commercial facilities, medical and welfare facilities, and employee dormitories—allowing visitors to experience the layouts, traffic flow, and usability firsthand.

To celebrate the opening of the Umeda Chayamachi store, a special opening sale is being held at 166 Nitori stores in the Kinki, Chugoku, and Shikoku regions. From October 30 through November 9, select furniture and home decor items will be available at special prices, and Nitori App members will earn up to 7 times the usual number of points.

In addition, Nitori will simultaneously hold its first-ever Black Friday sale on furniture and large appliances, a special pricing campaign for the N-Warm series, and the “Monthly Sale”—featuring 10% off approximately 350 items, including tabletop hot pots and kotatsu quilts—at stores nationwide and on Nitori.net. Please check the special feature page on Nitori.net for details.
