Tokyo-Kyushu Ferry Launches Family Travel Packages for the Year-End and New Year Holidays. Prices Start at 100,000 yen One-Way for Three People, Including Perks Such as 12,000 Yen in Onboard Coupons

Tokyo Kyushu Ferry, which operates a route connecting Yokosuka Port (Kanagawa) and Shin-Moji Port (Fukuoka), has launched the “Tokyo Kyushu Ferry Year-End and New Year Family Plan” for winter vacation travel and trips home for the holidays.

This offer is for families consisting of two adults and one elementary school student. The one-way fare is 100,000 yen without a passenger car and 135,000 yen with a passenger car. The fare includes one-way passage for all three passengers, and the plan that includes a passenger car also covers the shipping fee for one passenger car under 5 meters in length. Motorcycles and bicycles cannot be added, and payment is accepted via bank transfer only; credit card payments are not accepted.

This plan includes 12,000 yen worth of multi-purpose coupons—enough for three people—that can be used at onboard restaurants and shops. Additionally, for guests boarding on foot, one 1,000-yen taxi voucher valid in Yokosuka will be provided per group. Furthermore, the plan includes a free voucher for “au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi,” which normally costs 1,500 yen for 24 hours of use.

The eligible travel period is from December 21 to January 10, 2027. However, this offer is not available from December 25 to January 3, 2027. Reservations must be made by phone through Venus Travel at least 14 days prior to the departure date.

The vessels used will be the “Hamayuu” and “Soreiyu,” which entered service in 2021; some itineraries are scheduled to be operated by New Japan Sea Ferry’s “Suzuran.” On board, passengers can relax in open-air baths and large communal baths, as well as enjoy a planetarium show in the screening room.

The standard cabin is the “Tourist A” shared cabin, which features one bed per person. The entrances to the bunk beds are staggered vertically to ensure privacy. You can upgrade your cabin for an additional fee, though some cabins are excluded from this option.
