JR Tokai Food Service will accept pre-orders for two varieties of the 2026 “Piyorin” Christmas cakes on a first-come, first-served basis via its official online shop, “Piyorin MARKET,” from 12:00 p.m. on October 30 through 12:00 p.m. on November 6.
You can choose from two pickup locations: a special venue in the connecting passageway on the 13th floor of the Gate Tower Plaza Restaurant Area at JR Gate Tower in Nagoya, and the “Piyorin Shop Atelier” in Katsukawa (5-3312-10 Matsushinmachi, Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture).
“Piyorin” is a fresh dessert made by wrapping a pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs in bavarois and coating it with powdered sponge cake.
The lineup includes two items: the “Piyorin Assortment (6 varieties),” a set of six Christmas-themed Piyorins featuring designs such as Santa and reindeer, (4,000 yen) and the “Piyorin Decoration (15 cm)” (6,000 yen), featuring a Piyorin wearing a Santa hat. The pickup period is December 19–25, and since quantities are limited, reservations will close once the allotted number of items has been reached.
The “Piyorin Assortment” is a set that lets you enjoy six varieties of Piyorin dressed up in special Christmas styles. The assortment includes the classic Piyorin made with Nagoya Cochin eggs, as well as the “Snowman Piyorin,” which combines white chocolate bavarois with a sweet-and-sour berry jelly, and the “Choco Piyorin,” a combination of chocolate pudding and chocolate-flavored bavarois.
In addition, there is “Apple Piyorin,” which combines apple-flavored bavarois with apple jelly; “Santa Piyorin,” made with berry bavarois and topped with strawberry crumble; and “Reindeer Piyorin,” featuring caramel-flavored bavarois coated with caramel crumble.
“Piyorin Decoration” is a 15-cm-diameter decorated cake made with a moist sponge cake layered with Japanese strawberries and topped with smooth whipped cream. It is decorated with a Piyorin wearing a Santa hat, giving it a festive, Christmas-themed look.
The page for pre-ordering Christmas cakes is scheduled to go live on October 26.
