Meitetsu Kanko has announced the details of the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program on a special website. The program offers discounts of up to 60% in Kumamoto and Kagoshima, and up to 50% in the other five prefectures. Sales of eligible lodging packages in Miyazaki Prefecture will begin at 12:00 p.m. on October 5.
In addition, for the other eligible prefectures, reservations for lodging packages in Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki, as well as lodging packages that include transportation in Kumamoto, will be accepted starting at 12:00 p.m. on October 6. Lodging packages in Oita and Kagoshima, as well as guided tours within Kyushu, are reportedly still being prepared.
