JR Tokai, Shin-Yokohama Station Development, JR Tokai Hotels, and Marriott International have set December 18 as the opening date for the “Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Yokohama Station” (2-100-45 Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), which will be rebranded from the former Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama. The opening has been postponed by four months from the originally announced date, and room reservations will be accepted on the Marriott Bonvoy official website starting October 21.

The hotel is located in a building directly above Shin-Yokohama Station. All 203 guest rooms (on floors 13 through 19) have been renovated and feature a soothing interior design that incorporates the region’s history and traditions. The hotel offers a total of seven room types, including newly added “connecting rooms” that are ideal for families and groups.

In addition, the entrance lobby (10th floor) has been expanded into an open space so that guests carrying large luggage can check in and out comfortably. The lounge (12th floor) now features a new sofa area where guests can relax with a drink, and has been reimagined as “THE CROSS HUB,” a Relax & Work Space offering a quiet environment ideal for work and meetings.

In addition, the restaurant “Royal Host” (10th floor) offers a breakfast buffet. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, including freshly made Eggs Benedict with the restaurant’s signature pancakes, Yokohama-style dim sum, and Iekei ramen.
