Since last fiscal year, JICA has been running “Pacific-DIVE,” a program designed to identify and support innovative technologies and business solutions from Japanese companies aimed at addressing development challenges in the Pacific region. As part of this initiative, JICA held a call for proposals in July for “Pacific-DIVE,” a program designed to identify and support innovative technologies and business ideas with the potential to contribute to solving development challenges in the Pacific region, and selected the following companies following a rigorous screening process. Moving forward, through field visits and other activities, these companies will collaborate with JICA projects in the region to carry out demonstration activities and other initiatives aimed at addressing local development challenges.
