Huis Ten Bosch’s First Roller Coaster to Be Called “Panorama Rush”; Set to Open in Spring 2027

Posted on October 20, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Huis Ten Bosch (1-1 Huis Ten Bosch-cho, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture) has announced that the park’s first roller coaster—previously scheduled to open in 2027—will be officially named “Panorama Rush” and is now set to open in the spring of 2027.

To commemorate the park’s 35th anniversary, this project represents the largest investment in the park’s history, and its concept is the “Spectacular Roller Coaster.” The ride will be located in the “Art Garden,” featuring a course approximately 1 km long that races through “urban vistas”—including European-style streetscapes and canals—and “natural vistas” offering views of trees and Omura Bay.

The ride features the LSM launch system (linear launch acceleration)—the first of its kind in Western Japan—which propels riders up to the summit at a height of approximately 30 meters in one swift motion before racing along at a maximum speed of 75 km/h. At night, riders can experience the “Spectacular Light Display”—which has been named Japan’s best for 13 consecutive years—as well as nighttime entertainment and fireworks from above, offering a view distinct from that seen during the day.
