On October 14, Takarajimasha held a launch event for its new “Recoverypro Lab. Fatigue-Recovery Wear” line.
In addition to adding three new colors—khaki, pink, and blue-gray—to the existing basic model lineup, the company announced new products created in collaboration with four popular magazines: “Linen,” “MonoMax,” “InRed,” and “Otona no Oshare Techo.” The three new colors for the basic models will go on sale on October 20, while the magazine collaboration models will be released on October 14.
Takarajimasha’s “Recoverypro Lab. Fatigue Recovery Wear” uses fibers embedded with ceramic particles; these fibers absorb the far-infrared rays emitted by the body and radiate them back toward the body. This radiant heat is said to promote blood circulation and help alleviate muscle stiffness and tension; the product is sold as a general medical device.
It also features a smooth, soft feel against the skin and a slightly loose silhouette that doesn’t feel constricting, making it very comfortable to wear. The basic model is priced at 9,900 yen for a two-piece set, which is relatively affordable and makes it easy to put together a full outfit. The basic model is available in sizes S, M, Loose M, L, XL, and XXL.
Recoverypro Lab. is available for purchase on its official website as well as on various online retailers such as Amazon and Rakuten, but starting October 14, it will gradually go on sale at approximately 4,500 Lawson stores nationwide, excluding Okinawa Prefecture. Lawson will carry only the standard long-sleeve shirts and long pants. With this addition, the total number of stores carrying the product—including bookstores and department stores nationwide—will expand to approximately 6,600.
At the presentation event, stages were set up for each of the four popular magazines, and the editors-in-chief of each magazine introduced new products created in collaboration with them.
