CIO: A Travel Power Strip That Combines Adapter Plugs, Chargers, and Charging Cables

Posted on October 4, 2026 by Editor in Chief

On October 1, CIO released the “Polaris CUBE TRAVEL Built-in CORD REEL,” a travel power strip that combines a power adapter, charger, and charging cable into one unit. It is priced at 7,480 yen.

This product combines an adapter plug compatible with overseas A/O/BF/C-type outlets, a 3-port USB charger (up to 65W), an approximately 65.6 cm retractable Type-C cable, and a single-outlet power strip—all in one compact unit. The unit measures approximately 82.8 × 50.9 × 54.3 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs approximately 253 g.

The three USB charging ports consist of one retractable Type-C cable, one Type-C port on the unit itself, and one Type-A port. When using just the Type-C port, it can deliver a maximum output of 65W. When both Type-C ports are used simultaneously, the system automatically allocates power optimally within the 65W limit.

Please note that it does not have a voltage conversion function.
