Universal Studios Japan will begin rolling out collaborative food items and merchandise featuring “Myaku Myaku,” the official mascot of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and “Hamikuma,” a popular character from its fall event “Halloween Horror Night,” starting October 13.
This is an original event held in conjunction with the “1st Anniversary EXPO 2025 ~Relive That Surprise and Excitement~ @ Osaka! ‘EXPO Beat Jam’,” a commemorative event marking the one-year anniversary of the Expo’s closing, which will take place at the park on October 13. Please note that sales of Universal Studios Japan Studio Passes that include admission to the event viewing area have ended.
The collaboration merchandise (officially licensed EXPO 2025 products) now includes a “mascot keychain” featuring a soft, fluffy material and a large face. You can choose from two designs: a bright red one that’s quintessentially Myaku Myaku, and a checkered pattern unique to Hamikuma.
In addition, the set includes two sheets of sparkling hologram stickers. The mascot and sticker set will be available for purchase at the Universal Studios Store starting October 13.
Two types of collaboration foods will be available: the “EXPO 2025 Myaku Myaku Man ~Takoyaki Flavor~” and the “EXPO 2025 Myaku Myaku & Hamikuma Chocolate & Mixed Berry Sundae.”
The Myaku Myaku Man will be available for a limited time on October 13 only, and a numbered ticket is required to purchase it. Even those without event admission tickets can purchase it. The Myaku Myaku & Hamikuma Sundae is scheduled to go on sale for a limited time starting October 14.
Please note that sales methods, release dates, prices, and designs are subject to change; for details, please check the official Universal Studios Japan website.
