The Royal Hotel will operate the hotel it has previously announced it will open in the Hakone Gora area under the hot spring resort brand “Noir by Riga Hakone Gora” (Gora, Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture).
Noir by Riga is a luxury brand whose concept is “serene tranquility and heartfelt hospitality.” Following the opening of “Noir by Riga Kobe Arima,” scheduled for February 2028, this will be the brand’s second property to open.
The hotel is located in Kami-Gora, about a 5-minute drive from the Hakone Tozan Railway’s “Gora” Station and right next to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car’s “Kami-Gora” Station. The property consists of three buildings: the North Wing, which houses a restaurant, bar lounge, and large public bath, and two guest room wings. All 90 guest rooms feature an open-air hot spring bath and a terrace offering views of Hakone.
