Rakuten Travel will begin accepting new reservations for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program in Fukuoka Prefecture on October 1 at 10:00 a.m.
We are distributing “Rakuten Travel Coupons” that can be used for reservations of domestic accommodations and “Rakuten Packs” (transportation + lodging) with departure dates on or after October 1. The number of coupons available is limited to 3,920 for domestic accommodations (a total of 6 types covering Fukuoka City, Kitakyushu City, and other regions) and 680 for Rakuten Packs (transportation + lodging) (a total of 3 types), on a first-come, first-served basis.
The maximum discount amount is 20,000 yen per night for domestic accommodations and domestic tours, and 30,000 yen or 60,000 yen for domestic tours (two or more nights). Day-use stays, day trips, JR Shinkansen and limited-express train tickets combined with accommodations, and Rakuten Travel’s inbound travel site are excluded from this offer.
In addition, as an exclusive benefit offered only by Rakuten Travel, first-time users of Rakuten Travel can receive an additional 1,500 yen off, and those making their first reservation via the Rakuten Travel app can receive a 10% discount (up to 2,000 yen).
As for the other five prefectures in Kyushu, reservations began on September 15 in Kumamoto and Kagoshima Prefectures, on September 24 in Saga Prefecture, and on September 25 in Miyazaki and Oita Prefectures; as of 11:30 a.m. on September 30, coupons had been distributed in full in all of these areas. The implementation schedule for Kagoshima Prefecture has not yet been determined; details will be announced on a special website as soon as a decision is made.
