Akafuku will have a booth at the “Shuichi National Delicacies Fair,” which will be held from October 6 to 12 at the Keio Department Store Shinjuku Branch (1-1-4 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo).
At the venue, there will be a live demonstration and sale of Akafuku mochi, featuring freshly made Akafuku mochi (400 yen for two pieces to eat in, served with hojicha tea) crafted one by one by artisans known as “mochi-ire.” In addition, Isuzu Chaya—a Japanese and Western confectionery brand operated by Akafuku—will be selling its new products: “Sweet Potato Cornets” (400 yen each; 750 yen for eat-in service with azuki tea) and “Japanese Chestnut Terrine” (2,500 yen per piece).
In addition, the Keio Department Store Shinjuku branch will feature a lineup of autumn Japanese and Western sweets, including “Chestnut Manju” (2 for 650 yen) and “Chestnut Harmony” (3 for 1,000 yen), both making their debut at the store.
