JAL will begin selling the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” on its dedicated webpage starting at 2:00 p.m. on September 30.
This offer applies to trips departing on October 1 and ending on the return date specified for each prefecture, with a discount of 20,000 yen per person per night for a one-night stay, and 30,000 yen for stays of two to three nights, per reservation.
The eligible area is Miyazaki Prefecture, and the eligible products are JAL Dynamic Packages (domestic airfare + lodging). Reservations that include lodging in two or more prefectures, airfare-only reservations, and optional plans such as car rentals, sightseeing, and meals are not eligible.
As for the status of implementation in other prefectures, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki are currently preparing to implement the program. Oita Prefecture reportedly has no plans to implement it.
