“Jalan Special Week” Travel Booking Sale Starts October 5. Up to 50% off; can be combined with the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount in some cases.

Posted on September 30, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Jalan.net is holding “Jalan Special Week,” a major sale offering great deals on fall and winter travel reservations, from October 5 to 15. Coupons valid during the sale period are being distributed in advance starting September 30.

Covering more than 6,000 hotels and hot spring inns across Japan, the promotion features 5% off special offers and select half-price deals (accounting for 1.4% of the total). Additionally, by combining various coupons, guests can save up to an additional 20%, resulting in a total savings of up to 25% on their reservations.

Regarding the ongoing “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount,” “Accommodation Coupons,” “Jalan Coupons,” “Regional Coupons,” and “Special Coupons”—which are listed as “can be used in combination” in the terms and conditions—may be used in combination, up to a maximum of four coupons (one of each type). If you use a Jalan coupon other than the Support Discount, the amount eligible for the Support Discount subsidy will be calculated based on the total accommodation cost minus the value of the coupon used.

Although there’s fierce competition for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” coupons—both when reservations open and when canceled rooms become available—if you time it right, you’ll have the chance to book hotels and hot spring inns in the Kyushu region at even better rates during Special Week. For more details on the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount, please check out a separate article on Travel Watch.
