JAL Mobile’s “Super Savings Festival” offers 1,500 miles for new contracts. With the 2/5GB plan, the 3,300 yen sign-up fee is waived.

Posted on September 30, 2026 by Editor in Chief

JAL Mobile is running a campaign called “Super Savings Festival” for new subscribers from September 1 to November 4.

If you sign up for and activate JAL Mobile powered by IIJmio during the promotional period, the initial setup fee (3,300 yen) will be waived for 2GB or 5GB plans, and you’ll receive 1,500 miles for plans of 10GB or more (normally 500 miles). The eligible activation period is from September 1 to November 30.

JAL offers the “Miles to Somewhere” service, a “travel gacha” where users choose a destination from four suggested options. While a round-trip award ticket typically requires 7,000 miles, JAL Mobile subscribers can use the “Miles to Somewhere” service once a year for just 1,500 miles.

Therefore, if you take advantage of this promotion and choose the 10GB plan, you’ll be able to set off on a trip using an award ticket as soon as your miles are credited (campaign miles will be credited in stages starting in late November).
