The GREEN×EXPO Association held a “GREEN×EXPO 2027 Press Conference Six Months Before the Event” on September 15. Chairman Yoshinobu Tsutsui and Toshihide Hirahara, Deputy Mayor of Yokohama, took the stage to explain the details of the special event admission tickets.
A special event admission ticket called the “RING PASS,” made from reclaimed wood from the “Grand Roof Ring”—a beloved symbol of the Osaka-Kansai Expo—has been created. A lottery-based ticket sale will begin on September 18.
Only 2,027 passes will be issued; the only type available is the full-season pass (adult), priced at 50,000 yen. This price includes the 28,000 yen full-season pass fee, and those who have already purchased a pass can upgrade by paying the difference.
The 2,027 tickets are broken down as follows: 1,227 for new purchasers, 300 for those who have already purchased a full-season pass, and 500 for new purchasers residing in Yokohama. Applications will be accepted on the special website through September 30.
