Hoshino Resorts will open “BunkLodge NEKOMA by Hoshino Resorts” (6838-7 Kiyosui, Sarashina, Bandai-machi, Yama District, Fukushima Prefecture), an accommodation facility adjacent to the NEKOMA Mountain ski resort, on January 12, 2027.
This facility, which had been operating as “SAMURAI RIDERS” (formerly Resort Inn Bandai) prior to the Great East Japan Earthquake, decided to make a fresh start in response to the recent recovery in tourism demand and the growing need for multiple-night and long-term stays.
There are 63 guest rooms. The property offers rooms that accommodate 4 or 6 guests, designed with group stays in mind, and the Standard Plan (for 6 guests) starts at 3,200 yen per person per night. The 5-Night Special Plan (for 6 guests) offers rates starting at 2,560 yen per person per night, making it an affordable option. The company positions this plan as ideal for active skiers who “want to prioritize skiing above all else” or “want to stay with friends at a reasonable price.”
Reservations have been open since September 1, and next season’s operating period is from January 12 to March 6, 2027.
