Yahoo! Travel Announces “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount.” Bookings for Oita Prefecture Begin at Noon on September 25, with Up to 10% Cashback in Points

Posted on September 27, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Yahoo! Travel launched a special page for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” on September 24.

As of now, the program has been confirmed for two prefectures: Saga and Oita. Although Saga Prefecture began accepting reservations at 12:00 p.m. on September 24, reservations were closed as of 3:30 p.m. that same day.

Oita Prefecture is scheduled to begin accepting applications at 12:00 p.m. on September 25. As for the other five prefectures in Kyushu, the implementation schedule has not yet been determined.

This offer applies only to reservations for accommodations at facilities displayed on the website with the [○○ Prefecture Accommodation Discount] label. Day-use (day-trip) reservations are not eligible, and details regarding Yahoo! Pack (accommodation + airfare) will be announced as soon as the implementation schedule is finalized.

Even in prefectures eligible for the subsidy, reservations made before the application period begins are not eligible for the discount. While it may be possible to apply the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” coupon by rebooking as a new reservation, the coupons may run out before the reservation is finalized; therefore, customers are urged to carefully consider their options before proceeding.

In addition, when you use online card payments on Yahoo! Travel, you can earn up to an additional 10% back in PayPay Points (including base points). To earn and use PayPay Points, you must link your Yahoo! JAPAN ID to PayPay.
