“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days, from September 24 to 27.
Under the theme “Let’s Go to Korea Today!,” the Korea Tourism Organization has brought 22 organizations—including local governments, hotels, wellness institutions, and tourism startups—to Japan to operate the largest booth at TEJ2026.
There are three free hands-on activities available on Saturdays and Sundays, so let me introduce them.
The first is the “Personal Color Analysis.” Based on the results of this analysis—which identifies the colors that best suit you—the goal is to help you enjoy choosing Korean cosmetics and planning your next trip to Korea in a way that’s more true to yourself. The process takes about 10 minutes.
How to Participate: Pick up a numbered ticket at the registration desk and go to the booth at the designated time.
Date and Time:
[September 26] Starting at 10:15 a.m., starting at 2:30 p.m.
[September 27] Starting at 10:15 a.m., starting at 1:30 p.m.
The second activity is “Making Hangul Key Rings in the Shape of a Keyboard,” which is popular in South Korea. Participants can write their names or favorite phrases while referring to a Hangul chart to create their own original keyboard caps. The keyboard caps are designed as keyrings that can be attached to bags and other items. The activity takes about 20 minutes.

Third is the hanbok experience. You can enjoy this without a numbered ticket and take commemorative photos in front of two photo backdrops. They say they have hanbok available for women, men, and children.
In addition, stage talks featuring actress and model Ai Takahashi on September 26, and vocalist Mitsuru Matsuoka of the rock band SOPHIA and voice actor Atsushi Abe on September 27 are scheduled to take place.
