Rakuten Travel announced that it will begin accepting reservations for the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel assistance program in Miyazaki and Oita prefectures on September 25. Reservations for Miyazaki Prefecture will open at 10:00 a.m., and for Oita Prefecture at 12:00 p.m.
“Rakuten Travel Coupons” are being distributed for use on reservations for domestic accommodations or “Rakuten Pack” packages (transportation + lodging) with departure dates on or after October 1. Miyazaki Prefecture will distribute 3,890 coupons on a first-come, first-served basis (four types in total), while Oita Prefecture will distribute 3,680 coupons (five types in total).
The maximum discount amount is 20,000 yen per night for domestic accommodations and domestic tours, and 30,000 yen or 60,000 yen for domestic tours (two or more nights). Day-use stays, day trips, JR Shinkansen and Limited Express train tickets combined with accommodations, and Rakuten Travel’s inbound travel site are excluded from this offer.
In addition, as an exclusive benefit available only through Rakuten Travel, first-time users of Rakuten Travel can receive an additional 1,500 yen off, and those making their first reservation via the Rakuten Travel app can receive a 10% discount (up to 2,000 yen).
