Kintetsu Railway will begin offering the “Kintetsu Weekend Getaway Digital Free Pass,” a great-value digital ticket, year-round starting November 5 (for trips beginning November 6).
For three consecutive days, including a Saturday and Sunday (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday), this pass offers unlimited rides on the entire Kintetsu network (excluding Kashiwara Station, Nagata Station, the Nishi-Shigiku Cable Line, and the Katsuragiyama Ropeway) and the Ikoma Cable Car. The price is 6,000 yen for adults and 3,000 yen for children. Tickets can be purchased on the company’s website, “Kintetsu Ticket E-Mall,” starting one month before the travel date (tickets cannot be purchased on the day travel begins).
Please note that sales of the current paper ticket, the “Kintetsu Weekend Free Pass,” which can be purchased at station ticket windows and ticket vending machines, will end on October 30 (sales through the Kintetsu Travel Reservation Center and mail-order service will end at 12:00 p.m. on October 23).
