“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days, from September 24 to 27.
At the JTB booth, a quiz rally using LINE will be held. A campaign will be held where participants can win prizes—such as a packable Boston bag from JTB Shoji’s travel goods brand “Refeela”—through a random drawing. Kidzy, known as the “Okinawa Tarzan,” will take the stage for a performance, and on September 27, there will also be a talk session featuring fencer Kyosuke Matsuyama.
In addition, visitors to the booth can try out “Kumamon Dungeon,” an XR attraction available at “Sakura Machi Kumamoto,” a commercial facility in Kumamoto City. Participants put on XR goggles to explore the dungeon with Kumamon, battle enemies, and complete missions while touring tourist spots in Kumamoto Prefecture. This highly game-like experience, available to those ages 7 and up, is enjoyable for everyone from children to adults.
They use a ticket system, but if there’s space available, you can try it out right away, so feel free to stop by the booth.
