“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days, from September 24 to 27.
In a corner of the Tokyo booth in the Domestic Area, “Mukojima Hanamachi” (Mukojima Bokusui Association) is exhibiting for the first time.
The article introduces Mukojima Hanamachi, located in Sumida Ward, noting that there are still 11 traditional restaurants there where geisha perform in private rooms. During the event, geisha will be standing in front of the booths, and visitors will be able to take commemorative photos with them.
