“Tourism EXPO Japan 2026,” one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days, from September 24 to 27.
As part of the TEJ Collection’s “SAMURAI TOUCH” (TC1-04), a licensed physical therapist provides a 7-minute foot care treatment. This service, which drew massive lines in New York City, is making its debut in Japan.
Treatments are performed on tatami mats, a symbol of Japanese culture. In a traditional Japanese setting featuring paper lanterns and a ceremonial curtain, physical therapists dressed in samue provide foot care.
The treatment operates on a ticket system, where you can secure your spot using a paper ticket or via LINE. After your session, you’ll receive an “original paper-cut goshuin.” This booth is the perfect place to refresh your feet after a long day of walking at Tourism EXPO Japan—be sure to stop by.
