Marriott International, Sekisui House, and Pacifica Hotels will open “The Westin Hokkaido Furano Resort” (1976-3 Furano, Hokkaido, and five other parcels) in the summer of 2029.
Sekisui House is the developer; the project will operate under Marriott International’s “Westin” brand, with Pacifica Hotels serving as the operator.
The facility is planned to feature a total of 195 guest rooms and suites, combining nature-inspired design with modern comforts to create a space that promotes physical and mental rejuvenation and relaxation.
The guest rooms are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and wellness amenities, and are designed to allow guests to experience The Westin’s “Sleep Well,” “Move Well,” and “Eat Well” wellness philosophy during their stay.
The facility will feature an all-day dining restaurant with a semi-open kitchen, specialty restaurants, a lobby lounge, a café, and a bakery and patisserie. It will offer a wide range of dining options, from full meals to light snacks and drinks.
In addition, we plan to provide wellness facilities such as a fitness center, spa, and communal bath, as well as function rooms suitable for business and social events.
