The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications of the Republic of China will run the “Visit Taiwan Again, Double the Blessings” campaign from 10:00 a.m. on October 1 through March 31, 2027. The eligible travel period begins on October 10.
An initiative to award electronic money via a lottery: 5,000 Taiwan dollars (approximately 25,000 yen) to repeat visitors to Taiwan and 3,000 Taiwan dollars (approximately 15,000 yen) to companions visiting Taiwan for the first time.
Repeat visitors who have a travel history to Taiwan between January 1, 2023, and the day before registering for the campaign, as well as accompanying travelers who have no travel history to Taiwan between January 1, 2023, and the day before their arrival in Taiwan this time, will be eligible for the drawing if their current stay is between 3 and 90 days.
If you are selected, you will be notified by email, and verification is completed by uploading a photo of your return flight ticket within 24 hours of entering Taiwan. The electronic money will be credited to your EasyCard, iPASS, or icash 2.0 card, so you must either bring one of these cards with you or have a new one issued on the spot.
