The Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group will revamp its “direct round-trip hotel shuttle bus” service to and from Osaka and Kyoto on October 1, launching operations with new vehicles, fares, and routes.
The new vehicles feature the brand logos for “Oedo Onsen Monogatari” and “TAOYA,” and their capacity has been increased from the previous 45 passengers to 49. In addition, fares have been reduced by up to 44 percent—from the previous range of 4,860 to 5,920 yen for a round trip (depending on the route) to a flat rate of 1,650 yen one way and 3,300 yen round trip—making reservations even more affordable and accessible.
The routes will serve hotels in three areas—”Hokuriku,” “Shirahama,” and “Ise-Shima” (with the Ise-Shima area newly added)—and will have three departure and arrival points: Kyoto, Umeda, and Tennoji (specific arrangements vary by route).
