The GREEN×EXPO Association will begin selling admission tickets with reserved entry dates and times for the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition, “GREEN×EXPO 2027,” at convenience stores nationwide (Seven-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson) starting September 18.
GREEN×EXPO 2027 has implemented a system requiring visitors to reserve a specific date and time in advance for admission. Regardless of whether tickets are purchased through the official ticket website, a travel agency, or an OTA site, visitors must reserve a date and time after purchase (reservations open on September 18).
The “Admission Tickets with Scheduled Visit Dates and Times,” which are now available at convenience stores, allow you to decide on your desired date in advance and purchase the ticket. There is no need to make an online reservation; you can simply bring the paper ticket issued at the convenience store to gain admission (to change the date or time, you must complete the procedure on the official ticket website).
There are three types of tickets available: the “1-Day Pass (Early Bird/Regular Price),” the “Special Discount Ticket” for holders of disability certificates and their companions, and the “Evening Pass,” which allows entry after 5:00 p.m. As an example of pricing, the early-bird 1-Day Pass costs 4,900 yen for adults, 3,000 yen for teenagers, and 1,400 yen for children. The Night Pass costs 3,500 yen for adults, 1,900 yen for teenagers, and 900 yen for children.
GREEN×EXPO 2027, Japan’s first horticultural exposition in approximately 37 years since the 1990 Osaka Flower Expo, will have the theme “Tomorrow’s Landscape: Creating Happiness.” The event will run from March 19 to September 26, 2027, and will be held on approximately 100 hectares of land on the south side of the former Kamiseya Communications Facility in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
