On August 28, Tokyo Disney Resort updated its schedule for the “Tokyo Disney Resort Special Parade,” which features parades at festivals across the country.
An additional announcement was made regarding the “Special Parade Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Izumi City’s Incorporation,” to be held on December 6 in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture. The parade route will run along the Karakuni-Kui Municipal Road, from the vicinity of the Karakuni Minami No. 1 intersection (at the northern end of Iori Park) to the vicinity of the Kuboso Memorial Art Museum West intersection (at the northern end of the Nafco Two-One Style Izumi store), and is scheduled to begin around 11:50 a.m.
During the parade, Disney characters join local children in livening up the parade to the upbeat music of “Jamboree Mickey!”
In addition, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event, the “Duffy Bus” will be on display at the lawn area in Central Park, near the parade route. The bus is wrapped in the same plush fabric as Duffy, so visitors can touch its soft, fluffy exterior and take photos with it.
The design being unveiled this time is “Duffy & Friends: Find Your Beautiful Blue!”—created to commemorate the “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary: ‘Sparkling Jubilee’” celebration.
