The GREEN×EXPO Association will begin accepting reservations for admission dates and times for “GREEN×EXPO 2027” (the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition) starting September 18. Accordingly, the association has finalized the details regarding reservation times and other matters.
GREEN×EXPO 2027 will implement a system requiring visitors to reserve a specific date and time in advance for entry. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting September 18 for the entire duration of the event.
The venue is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (last entry at 9:00 p.m.), and reservations can be made for the following time slots: 9:30 a.m. / 10:30 a.m. / 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. You may enter at any time after your reserved time slot begins.
If you wish to visit on a different day, you must change your visit date and time. You may change the date and time up to three times per ticket.
In addition, advance reservations are required for shuttle buses from the four train stations near the venue and for the venue parking lot (details to be announced at a later date).
It is also reported that, unlike the Osaka-Kansai Expo—where advance reservations (by lottery or on a first-come, first-served basis) were required for many pavilions and events—the Horticultural Expo will feature extensive outdoor spaces, such as gardens and flower beds, that visitors can enjoy freely without a reservation.
However, for some exhibits, a reservation system will be implemented that allows viewing only by same-day reservation. Reservations can be made on the official ticket website, with only one reservation per ticket allowed per day.
Reservation slots will be released in three batches at 8:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. Visitors can also make reservations immediately before entry, as long as the date and time are on or after their pre-scheduled visit. The names of the pavilions (exhibitors) requiring reservations will be announced at a later date on the official website.
