In response to the flood damage in Nepal and following a request for assistance from the Nepalese government, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows.

1. Damage Situation
Flooding that occurred around 9:00 a.m. on August 26 in Raswa District, Bagmati Province, Nepal, has caused extensive loss of life and property damage in the affected areas.

Number of victims: Being verified
Approximately 910 people are missing
