The “Oidemase Yamaguchi” Tourism Campaign Promotion Council and the JR Group will hold the Yamaguchi Destination Campaign, titled “A Journey of Blessings: Welcome to Yamaguchi, the Land of Blessings,” from October 1 through December 31.
To coincide with this, the “Yamaguchi Fuku no Kuni Tour Pass”—a great-value digital ticket valid during the DC period—will go on sale starting September 1. In addition to offering unlimited travel for three consecutive days on all JR conventional lines within Yamaguchi Prefecture, as well as connecting transportation such as buses and ferries that are convenient for sightseeing, the pass includes admission and hands-on experiences at 10 tourist facilities. The price is 5,000 yen for adults and 2,500 yen for children. It will be available through JR West’s tourism navigation service, “tabiwa by WESTER.”
With this pass, you can enjoy the following sightseeing and activities: admission to the Chofu Mouri Residence, one round-trip crossing of the Kintaikyo Bridge, entry to the Akiyoshi Cave, a 500-yen shopping voucher for the Kamon Wharf shopping complex, a goldfish lantern-making workshop at Yanaishi West Storehouse, and a soak in the “Fox’s Footprints” foot bath—each available once.
