Cosmos Initia and Cosmos Hotel Management will open the apartment hotel “MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi CENTRAL” (1-9-27 Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) on September 1.
This will be the brand’s 28th property; with its opening, the total number of guest rooms will reach 1,500, and the company will continue to expand its operations toward a target of 3,000 rooms by 2030.
MIMARU operates an apartment-style hotel featuring guest rooms of approximately 40 square meters or larger, each equipped with a kitchen and a living/dining area, designed for guests to enjoy staying together. About 90 percent of its guests are international travelers and families.
“MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi CENTRAL” is located just a 2-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, within walking distance of popular sightseeing and shopping areas such as Dotonbori and America-mura. All 66 guest rooms are over 40 square meters in size and feature a kitchen, dining area, refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, and a washer-dryer. Rooms accommodate either 4 or 6 guests, with half of the rooms able to accommodate up to 6 guests.
In addition, the hotel has introduced a new “Fun-Filled Bank Bedroom.” Equipped with bunk beds designed to promote independence, the room features a design that sparks children’s curiosity and provides a space where friends can enjoy themselves together. Furthermore, staff from around the world are on hand to offer travel advice and assist guests with sightseeing in Osaka.
