Jalan.net will launch “Jalan Special Week,” a major sale offering great deals on fall and winter travel reservations, starting August 31.

In addition to 5% off special offers and select half-price deals at more than 6,000 hotels and hot spring inns across Japan, you can combine various coupons to save up to an additional 20%, allowing you to book your stay with a total savings of up to 25%.

The types of coupons include a 10,000-yen off coupon for hotel reservations, a 15,000-yen off coupon for long holidays and three-day weekends, and an 80,000-yen off coupon for “Jalan Pack” packages that combine transportation and lodging. Distribution of some of these coupons has already begun, and all are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

In addition, a campaign is being held in which 2,020 people will be selected at random to receive 1,000 points redeemable on Jalan.net when they book and stay at eligible plans during the sale. The pre-registration period ends at 11:59 p.m. on August 30.
