ZERO ZERO ROBOTICS has announced the “HOVERAir VERSA,” which transitions from a handheld gimbal camera to an autonomous aerial camera, enabling filming both on the ground and in the air.
As a handheld camera equipped with a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, it can be used for everyday filming, and by attaching the Flight Wing, it can also perform aerial photography via autonomous flight. During autonomous flight, it supports a variety of flight modes, including takeoff and landing from the palm of your hand, automatic tracking, orbiting, aerial shots, and zooming out.
AI-powered subject tracking and auto-framing make it possible to position the photographer and subject within the optimal composition. Additionally, AI Composition recognizes the surrounding environment to suggest camera positions and compositions. This helps photographers capture striking footage without having to think too much about the composition. In 3D Worlds, spaces are captured from various angles and reconstructed as immersive 3D environments. This allows users to enjoy the locations they’ve filmed from new perspectives.
The camera module features a 1/1.3-inch sensor, delivering a dynamic range of 17.5 stops. This allows the camera to capture fine details from highlights to shadows, even in scenes with extreme contrast. Furthermore, it supports 4K 60 fps video, 10-bit HDR, H-Log recording, and improved low-light performance.
