The American Express × ANA co-branded card has been redesigned. With a new design and enhanced benefits, it’s now easier to earn miles.

Posted on August 23, 2026 by Editor in Chief

American Express International and ANA are revamping their co-branded cards and will begin accepting applications for the new cards starting at 1:00 p.m. on September 2. They have enhanced the benefits for two of the three card types, and all three types will feature a new card design.

The two companies issued their first co-branded cards—the “ANA American Express Card” and the “ANA American Express Gold Card”—in 2009, followed by the “ANA American Express Premium Card” in 2014.

As part of this redesign, the card designs for all card types have been updated for the first time since their launch, featuring the tail fin—a symbol of the ANA brand—as the central motif. Furthermore, in response to the recent surge in interest in travel, the “Gold” and “Premium” card types will be enhanced to make it easier to earn ANA Miles—in addition to their existing services—while also expanding the range of benefits available.

Gold cardholders earn 15,000 bonus miles for annual card spending of 4 million yen or more, while Premium cardholders earn 30,000 bonus miles for annual spending of 6 million yen or more. In addition, when using “Pocket Concierge,” the dining reservation service provided by American Express, Gold cardholders can receive up to 20,000 yen in cashback annually, while Premium cardholders can receive up to 40,000 yen annually.

In addition, both Gold and Premium members can use the “Power Lounge Premium” at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 as many times as they like, free of charge. Members may bring one guest with them when using the lounge.

To commemorate this relaunch, we are launching the “New ANA American Express New Member Campaign” for new members. The campaign runs from September 2 to November 4, and members who meet the requirements can earn up to the equivalent of 242,000 miles when using a Premium Card.

We are also holding the “Win 50,000 Miles! ANA Amex Dream Campaign,” which is open to existing cardmembers as well. Among existing and new cardmembers who enter the campaign between August 19 and November 18, 300 winners will be selected at random to receive 50,000 ANA miles. Please check the official website for details on each campaign.
