Skymark will change the check-in and baggage drop-off deadlines for all flights departing from Haneda Airport from the current “20 minutes before departure” to “30 minutes before departure.” This change will take effect for flights departing on or after September 1.
As part of an initiative by the Regular Airlines Association and its member airlines to promote compliance with boarding cutoff times, six airlines operating flights to and from Haneda Airport (JAL, JTA, ANA, AIRDO, Solaseed Air, and StarFlyer) have already announced changes to their boarding cutoff times. While Skymark had previously stated, “We will maintain a 20-minute cutoff with no changes and continue to evaluate the optimal time,” it appears the airline has now fallen in line at the last minute.
