In February 2027, Tomytec will release the “Tomicarama Vintage 16a Convenience Store (7-Eleven)” as part of its “Tomicarama Vintage” series of diorama models for adults designed to be enjoyed alongside 1/64-scale die-cast cars.
The suggested retail price is 26,400 yen, and the product is intended for ages 15 and up. Pre-orders will begin at 4:00 p.m. on September 10 through hobby-related online retailers, hobby sections at mass-market retailers nationwide, and specialty die-cast car stores.
Tomica Rama Vintage (Tomica Rama) is a diorama series recreated in the same 1/64 scale as the die-cast cars. To date, the series has released items such as highways, garages, used-car dealerships, and gas stations—all designed to be combined with the die-cast cars to create dioramas.
This release, the “Tomikara Vintage 16a Convenience Store (7-Eleven),” is the first in the series to recreate a convenience store. It faithfully reproduces the exterior—including the distinctive sign design—as well as the cash register, store shelves, multifunction copiers, ATMs, and Seven Café machines, as well as products like hot snacks such as fried chicken sticks—all rendered in 1/64 scale.
The automatic doors at the store entrance are designed to be opened and closed manually by moving the U-shaped pole on the far left. The product shelves inside the store can be arranged freely, and by combining them with the included uniformed store clerk figures or separately sold 1/64-scale figures, you can recreate a realistic store setting. Furthermore, by placing separately sold mini-cars and other accessories, you can enjoy recreating the scenery around the store as well.
Included items: Main building, store walls, fence and lot plate, parking stops (on sprues), banners (on sprues), store clerk figures (2 types), a warehouse, an ATM, a cash register, merchandise shelves and counters (14 types), a 7-Eleven Café machine, a hot snack display case, a hot drink display case, a multifunction copier, and label stickers.
