Jalpack is selling tours to view the “Omagari Fireworks—Autumn Chapter,” which will be held in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, on October 3, until 10:00 a.m. on September 3.
Unlike the summer “National Fireworks Competition”—which is counted among Japan’s Three Great Fireworks Festivals—the fall “Omagari Fireworks Festival” is characterized by a program that shines with artistry and creativity, with a strong focus on “spectacular fireworks” designed to be a show. On this tour, a chartered bus takes you directly from Akita Airport or a hotel in Akita City to the venue, so there’s no need to worry about crowds. You’ll be able to enjoy the spectacular fireworks lighting up the clear autumn night sky from “reserved seating (chairs).”
You can choose between the “Free Course,” which offers a high degree of flexibility in your itinerary, and the “Sightseeing Course,” where you’ll tour Lake Tazawa, Tsurunoyu Onsen (the oldest inn in the Nyuto Onsen resort area), and the historic streets of Kakunodate by chartered bus the day after the fireworks display. Both courses are available in 2-day and 3-day options. Participants will also receive a JAL-branded eco-bag containing essentials for enjoying the fireworks (light snacks, drinks, a glow stick, etc.).
